Hidden Meadows Arabians is proud to announce the birth of a purebred Arabian colt by AKMA D DAY++++// and out of Myss Ferrari++. With these winning parents, he is sure to be another champion in the show ring!

 

 

2015

HM Mystic Day made her under saddle debut as a junior horse with multiple wins and being crowned Region 5 Champion Arabian Sport Horse Under Saddle Junior Horse, with Dannelle Haugen.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2014

2014 was a short but extremely successful season for Hidden Meadows Arabians that included multiple National titles. HM Nahar was crowned U.S. Reserve National Champion Arabian Dressage Training Level Junior Horse, as well as U.S. National Top Ten Sport Horse Under Saddle Junior Horse, Region 5 Reserve Champion Arabian Sport Horse Under Saddle Junior Horse, and Region 5 Top 5 (3rd) in both Training Level Dressage Jr Horse and Sport Horse In-hand Stallions ATH.

 

Myss Ferrari, half sibling to HM Nahar, earned her Legion of Merit, along with U.S. National Top Tens in Arabian Sport Horse IN-Hand Mares Dressage Type in both the Open and Amateur divisions. She was once again Region 5 Champion Arabian In-Hand Mare and Reserve Champion Sport Horse Under Saddle, as well as Top 5 in Dressage Training Level and First Level in very large classes.

 

HM Nahar and Myss Ferrari are trained and ridden by the talented Dannelle Haugen.

 

 

2013

DDay2013 was an unbelievable year highlighted by a trip to the Canadian National Championship Show. AKMA D-DAY++++// earned 5 Canadian National titles, one in each of the classes he qualified for. He was crowned Canadian National Champion Second Level Dressage, Canadian National Champion Third Level Dressage, Canadian National Top Ten (3rd) Sport Horse Show Hack, Top Ten Sport Horse Under Saddle, and Top Ten Sport Horse In-Hand. All of this at the tender age of 19!


This was the culmination of an already successful season, reflected in Regional Championships in Third Level Dressage and another in Sport Horse Show Hack and Top 5 in Second Level Dressage.

Hidden Meadows Arabians was also proud to debut under saddle the beautiful purebred mare, Myss Ferrari. Myss Ferrari garnered a big win in her first "A" show under saddle in Purebred Sport Horse Under Saddle. She went on to earn nice scores in Training Level Dressage as well. The highlight to her show season was winning Region 5 Champion in Sport Horse In-Hand Mares Open and Amateur. Her trot is to die for!
 
HM Magic Daybue, additionally earned Top 5's in Sport Horse Under Saddle and Training Level DayBueDressage.

HM Magic Daybue scored a 68.542 on this ride and won his class in preparation for heading to Arabian Sport Horse Nationals next week.

 

July 2012

Racking up more Regional Championships, AKMA D DAY had another superb show at the Region 5 Championship Show.  He started off with owner Barbara Marcinkowski showing him to Champion Sport Horse In-Hand Stallions Amatuer to Handle. The highlight of the show was his huge win in a large and competitive 17 horse Sport Horse Under Saddle Championship Class.  He and trainer/rider Dannelle Haugen were absolutely spectacular and after a very long class their efforts were rewarded as they were crowned Champion. They went on just moments later to also be named Champion in Sport Horse Show Hack. Additionally, they were Reserve Champions in Sport Horse In Hand Stallions Open and finished out the show with Top 5s in First and Second Level Dressage.  Hidden Meadows Arabians is so proud of both D-Day and Dannelle and are now looking forward to Sport Horse Nationals in September!  Stay tuned...

 


 

The Arabian Region 4 Sport Horse Championships was another great event with Akma D-Day showing Top 5 in everything he entered, including 2 Regional Championships and 1 Reserve Championship.  Trainer and rider Dannelle Haugen and D-Day had a beautiful ride to the blue first in Sport Horse Show Hack.  Later they had a stellar ride and scoring 70.645% for the regional championship in First Level Dressage. Owner Barbara Marcinkowski led D-Day to his Reserve Championship in Sport Horse In-Hand Stallions Amateur to Handle. D-Day also had good rides and showings to bring home the additional Top 5s in Sport Horse Under Saddle, 2nd Level Dressage and Sport Horse In-Hand Stallions Open.

 

This is just a start of what is to come for the remainder of the show season.  Hidden Meadows Arabians would also like to congratulate Dannelle Haugen and her junior stallion, HF Sirtainly Witez, on two

Region 4 Reserve Championships and Mike Dean and his mare, Sawdas Lady Pasha, on their Reserve Championship and Top 5s.  Look for this team, Akma D-Day and HM Magic Daybue to make their mark at the Region 5 Championship Show in July.

June 2012

April & May meant two more A shows for Akma D Day.  He brought home plenty of blues from the Arabians In Motion Sport Horse Show, winning Sport Horse In-Hand Stallions, Sport Horse Under Saddle and Sport Horse Show Hack hands down.  Additionally, he made his A show debut in Second Level Dressage that included two 2nd place finishes and good scores, and very strong scores in first level as well. 
 
May brought the Cascade Youth Benefit Show, where D-Day again pulled in the blue in Sport Horse Show Hack and Sport Horse In-Hand Amateur to Handle, and 2nd place in Sport Horse Under Saddle. Most amazing, however, was his score of 68.157 in Second Level Dressage to win the class!
 
HM Magic Daybue also had some impressive scores & results in Training Level dressage, where he placed second in an open class with 62.321.  He was also second in Sport Horse Under Saddle Jr Horse.  His highlight of the show was winning a large Sport Horse In-Hand Geldings class with trainer Dannelle Haugen!

The 2012 show season is getting off to a great start for the horses of Hidden Meadows Arabians at the Northwest Heritage Arabian Horse Show.  Our champion stallion Akma D Day+++/ not only posted great scores in dressage on the first day of the show, but came home with all the blues on Friday in Sport Horse classes.  He won Sport Horse In-hand both Open and Amateur and the Sport Horse Show Hack.
 
D-Day's half arabian offspring, HM Magic Daybue made his "A" show debut, with a nice solid ride in bad conditions and placing 6th in his Training Level dressage class and placed third in Half Arabian Sport Horse Under Saddle for Junior Horses. We're looking forward to "Littleman" bringing home the blue at his next show.

 

 

 

 

 


September 2011



2011 has indeed been a stellar season for AKMA D DAY and trainer Dannelle Haugen.  They started the season winning in Sport Horse In-hand and debuting with high scores in First Level dressage. They racked up more blues in Training and First Level dressage,  Sport Horse Under Saddle and Sport Horse Show Hack in the “A” circuit.  On the weekend of his 17th birthday, D-Day taught all the youngsters a thing or two as he took home 3 Regional Championships, a Reserve and two Top 5s at the Region 5 Sport Horse Championships. His championship blues were earned in Sport Horse In-Hand Stallions, Training Level Dressage, & Sport Horse Under Saddle. He additionally earned his reserve and Top 5s in Sport Horse In-hand amateur to handle, First Level Dressage and Sport Horse Show Hack respectively. He continued his winning ways at Region 4 with 2 more Championships and 2 Top 5’s.  Through all his success, he earned his Legion of Supreme Merit.  D-Day and Dannelle branched out for one weekend trying out an Arabian Native Costume.  They both were fabulous and definitely the most beautiful pair in the class.  The season was not yet complete though until he entered the Summervale Dressage Festival, an open (All breed) dressage show, and won both of his classes and captured the High Point for the show against many fabulous horses, including some very nice warmbloods.

 

Additionally, D-Day’s 2 year old colt, HM Nahar earned his first Regional Top Five in the Sport Horse In-Hand Stallions at Region 5.  HM Magic Daybue is currently going beautifully under saddle.  Look for all of them in the 2012 show season!  A full sibling to HM Nahar and D-Day filly was born this year and we look forward to showing her off next season as well.

 

 

 

 

 

September 2010

AKMA D DAY+++/ earns TOP TEN at the 2010 Arabian Sport Horse National Championship Show!  D-DAY took a Top Ten (3rd) in Arabian Sport Horse Show Hack with Dannelle Haugen aboard.  It was a large competitive class and the duo performed beautifully.  They additionally just missed the Top Ten in Dressage Training Level, finishing 13th in a huge 43 horse class.  D-Day also just missed Top Ten in a large Sport Horse In-Hand ATH class with owner Barbara Marcinkowski.  Look for D-Day and Dannelle in the 2011 show season as they will continue to compete in the Sport Horse arena and add 1st Level Dressage in the Arabian and Open circuit to their busy schedule.

August 2010

AKMA D DAY+++/ had a fabulous Region 4 Arabian Sport Horse Championship Show with 5 Regional Titles!  He went Top 5 in every class entered to include 2 Reserve Champion titles in Arabian Sport Horse Stallions In-Hand in the Open division with Tim Wigren and in the Amateur to Handle division with owner Barbara Marcinkowski.  Dannelle Haugen did a superb job in the saddle once again earning the Top 5's in Dressage Training Level (placing 4th in a huge class) with a score of 67.6 and additionally with beautiful rides in Sport Horse Under Saddle and Sport Horse Show Hack.  Terrific job Dannelle!  Look for this entire team next month at the Arabian Sport Horse National Championship Show!!!

AKMA D DAY+++/ earns his Legion of Honor and Legion of Merit Achievement Awards through his outstanding record in Halter and Performance!

D-Day

AKMA D DAY+++/ had a superb showing at the Region 5 Arabian Sporthorse Championships taking home 3 regional titles.  Again with rider Dannelle Haugen aboard, he took Reserve Champion in Training Level Dressage - actually tied in score (71.6) for 1st place out of 22 competitors.  Awesome job D & D!!!  Then he continued his winning ways taking home a Top 5 in Sport Horse In-hand with Tim Wigren.  Finally another Top 5 (3rd) in the final class of the weekend, Sport Horse Show Hack.  We are so proud of D-Day and all the hard work Dannelle has been putting in to get him here.  We owe special thanks to Tim and Rachel Wigren of Command Performance for all of their work and support over the years - D wouldn't be where he is without you - THANK YOU!

DayBue DayBue

HM Magic Daybue, 2 year old pinto gelding by AKMA D DAY+++/ made his show "DAYBUE" this same weekend at the Region 5 Preshow with Tim Wigren and showed beautifully bringing home a 3rd in Half Arabian Sport Horse In-Hand Geldings.  "Little Man" as we call him had never been off the farm and in only about 3 weeks, he took multiple trailer rides, was subjected to the wash rack, got clipped, and learned what a bridle was all about.  He handled it all like a champ!

May 2010

AKMA D Day+++/ is excelling in the dressage ring in 2010. With rider Dannelle Haugen aboard at the Cascade Arabian Youth Benefit Show, D-Day scored a 74.285 and placed 1st in Training Level Test 2 and a 72.8 and 2nd place in Training Level Test 4. He continued his success with two 2nd place finishes in Sport Horse In-Hand- showing in open with Tim Wigren and amateur with Jenna Becar. Additionally he showed to a beautiful 2nd place in Sport Horse Show Hack and a 3rd in a large Sport Horse Under Saddle class.

AKMA D-Day+++/ CROWNED REGION 17 CHAMPION ARABIAN SPORT HORSE STALLION not once, but TWICE! D- Day went to his championship with trainer/handler Tim Wigren in the Open Purebred Arabian Sport Horse Stallions In-Hand class and then again with owner/handler Barbara Marcinkowski in the Amatuer to Handle division. We are so proud of him and all the hard work of Tim Wigren and the Command Performance team- THANK YOU!

Hidden Meadows Arabians is extremely proud to announce the birth of a purebred Arabian colt by our stallion AKMA D-Day+++/ and out of the beautiful mare OFW Dark Mystery. Although his registered name is still in the making, with this breeding this colt is sure to be a winning sport horse. D-Day's success as a sport horse speaks for itself. Mystery has an impeccable pedigree and is half sibling to National Champion Sport Horse SC Dark Conquest+. We look forward to seeing "Tod" in the show ring as he gets older.

AKMA D-Day+++/ earns another regional title and goes REGION V TOP FIVE purebred Arabian Sport Horse Stallions in-hand ATH with owner Barbara Marcinkowski.

AKMA D-Day+++/ started the 2009 show season in a big way and took TWO RESERVE CHAMPIONSHIPS in purebred Arabian Sport Horse stallions in-hand at the AAHABC BC Classic in Langley, British Columbia the last week of April. He was shown to his Reserve Championship in open with trainer and handler Tim Wigren and in amateur with owner Barbara Marcinkowski. He also had nice placings in big classes in Sport Horse Under Saddle and Hunter Pleasure. D-Day and Tim made their dressage debut and earned nice scores and qualified for the Region XVII Championship Show later this Summer. Thank you Tim!

AKMA D-Day

 

AKMA D-DAY+++/ had a great trip to the 2008 Arabian Sport Horse Nationals in Nampa, Idaho.  D-Day showed beautifully throughout the entire show both under saddle and in-hand.  D-Day was 13th overall in the Purebred Stallions Sport Horse In-Hand with Tim Wigren – just out of the ribbons.  We consider this a success as he was among the best in the Nation and less than 1 point spanned between 8th and 15th place.


Hidden Meadows Arabians would also like to congratulate Tim Wigren and his mare Lucky Gold Penny+ for taking Reserve National Champion honors in the Half Arabian Mares Sport Horse In-Hand.  What an incredible job!

AKMA D-DAY+++/ takes Top 5 (3rd) at Region IV in Sport Horse in Under Saddle with Tim Wigren. We’re so proud of D-Day and Tim and all their hard work.

 


 

Additionally, D-Day took Reserve Champion in–hand in the Amateur to Handle division at the AIM Sporthorse Region IV qualifier, with owner Barbara Marcinkowski.

HM is extremely proud to announce the birth of the flashy ¾ Arabian Pinto colt HM Magic Daybue (pending).  This little guy is perfect in every way.  He’s very correct, has beautiful color, and a “look at me” personality.  He will be an eye catcher in the show ring.  Check back for more updates on this awesome guy.

Hidden Meadows Arabians is happy to welcome the young filly Myss Ferrari to the family.  She is a gorgeously striking chestnut filly by Maranello (by Magnum Psyche) out of OFW Dark Mystery (by Dark Victory).  She is sure to turn a lot of heads and have many successes in the show ring.  Look for her in the 2009 show season and be sure to check back for updated pictures.

Additionally HM is proud to announce the lease of OFW Dark Mystery, who is now in foal to our stallion, AKMA D Day+++/s for 2009.  Mystery has an impressive pedigree and obviously produces superb offspring.  We can’t wait to see the 2009 foal.
